Storm Alert – September 26, 2025
Invest 94L & Hurricane Humberto
Mansfield is closely monitoring multiple weather systems in the Atlantic that may impact fuel supply and logistics along the U.S. East Coast in the coming days.
Invest 94L is being monitored, with projections indicating it may develop into Tropical Storm Imelda this weekend. Forecasts suggest that the system could make landfall slightly south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, early next week as it potentially intensifies into a hurricane.
Hurricane Humberto also continues to strengthen and is forecasted to become a Category 3 or stronger hurricane as it tracks northward in the Atlantic. While a direct landfall on the East Coast is not anticipated, Humberto’s large size means heavy rainfall and wind speeds could impact areas from Virginia through Maine.
Mansfield is topping off inventory managed locations along the entire East Coast to ensure continuity of supply. We are closely monitoring for delays at waterborne terminals, which could impact coastal markets that normally receive vessel supply.
Mansfield will remain on alert and provide updates as the storm systems progress.
